I have survived my first (fingers crossed only!) IUI. The whole procedure was only about 60 seconds, and was completely painless. In fact, the whole day was really positive....Brandon's numbers were great and all within normal range, I didn't have any of the side effects the nurse warned me about, and today another sonogram confirmed that I had ovulated right on schedule (so this month wasn't wasted).
Now comes the stupid two-week wait. But as busy as I am between work, home and M's football games starting this week, hopefully I will be plenty distracted!
